John not only coped with a stroke in 2009 but he lost his battle for life after being diagnosed with cancer in Sep 2014. It was a rare aggressive cancer and there was no treatment/cure. Through the charitable work of the St Francis Hospice John and his family were able to say goodbye with dignity respect and the best end of life care you could hope for. We are all getting older and should want this facility for ourselves and our loved ones.Johns family would like to give family and friends the opportunity to donate to this worth while charity which is one reason for setting up this memorial.
